Short-T Tricky: Ghetto Ladies is a mashup of 1950s housewives and urban slang. This blog came to be when I began to imagine what 1950s housewives were actually thinking during their lifelong pursuit to be the perfect wife, mother, friend, sister, neighbor and homemaker. Maybe these ladies weren't so passive and obedient. Maybe they lead fulfilling lives. I don't know, but I hope I am giving them some power through the slang I use to interpret the pictures featured on this site. Peace out
